The converter refractory lining de-breaking machine is designed for cleaning the converter shell from skull and refractory lining of the converter shell during cold repair of converters by breaking out. During converter operation the machine is designed for cleaning the converter body and vessel mouth from slag and metallic sculls by breaking out or hollowing out, as well as for drilling out the tap hole blocks when replacing the vessel tap hole and tap hole block placing procedure. Tap hole drilling out is carried out by a drill.
